Course Description

Learn to create the front-end of websites by coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You’ll learn how to create responsive websites Learn to host sites on GitHub. PRE-COURSE REQUIREMENTS & TARGET GROUP Trainees within age group 18 years and above that possesses a SSCE level Certification. All Participants are required to have a personal laptop. COURSE DURATION The course is 8 weeks | 4 days a week: (9:00am – 5:00pm) HOSTEL ACCOMODATION This is available at an extra cost MODE OF DELIVERY • Classroom Presentation - using PowerPoint and visual aids • practical sessions, audio/video resources • One-to-one instruction and team-building exercises in groups. Feedback from the participants during each topic forms an important element of the learning process. LEARNING OBJECTIVES On successful completion of this course each trainee will have a comprehensive understanding of the following: • Use HTML5 to build a web page • Use HTML5 to format a web page • Use tags and heading • Install visual code studio • Work with forms, link HTML file, use HTML5 canvas, video and SVG elements • Identify different CSS selector • Explain ID, make an HTML page responsive • Use HTML5 and CSS3 to format a Web Page • Differentiate between bux model and typography • Use CSS3 to style web pages • Understand JavaScript programming concepts, write javascript on VS code • Understand JavaScript and the document object model • Explain variables, operators and expression • Use jQuery syntax to navigate a document. • Understand Different type of java loops and correct syntax ASSESSMENT • Multiple-choice examination & Project based practical examination CERTIFICATE On Successful completion of this course, learners will receive a certificate awarded by Etiwa Tech.
